On-site same day luggage storage is available at Pier 91. Luggage storage location is in the Crew Center at the north of the Ground Transportation Center. Every spring and summer, travelers from around the country and across the world flock to the Seattle waterfront to board cruise ships bound for Alaska.

Both cruise terminals provide seating for passengers in the embarkation halls. The Bell St. Terminal at Pier 66 has about 250 chairs, while the Smith Cove Terminal at Pier 91 provides seating for about 500 people. A VIP area for suite passengers is available at the Bell St. Terminal. Near the Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66, however, shopping and dining abounds with the downtown waterfront peppered by independent cafes and quick-serve restaurants. There are plenty of souvenir shops, top attractions and convenient stores within walking distance, too.

Turn right at bottom of ramp and follow signs for cruise terminal parking or cruise terminal. Terminal 91 is located about 17 miles from Seattle Tacoma International Airport. The Smith Cove Terminal parking lot is available to all Carnival, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America, Princess and Royal Caribbean cruise passengers. All customers will receive a $1 per day discount if they book parking online. Independent LotsWhile many cruise ports have a number of independent lots that offer dramatically cheaper rates than parking at the port, Seattle is a bit different.
Pier 91While Pier 66 is the most “visible” cruise pier due to its location, more people sail from Pier 91. That’s because it’s served by a much greater number of cruise lines, including Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, and Princess. The location is north of downtown, but a short distance away. There is also parking right nearby if you are driving in for a cruise. Both terminals are about 15 miles from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The ride will take about minutes to get to the ship from the airport.

Driving to the PortIf you’re lucky enough to live in the area, you can simply drive to the cruise port. LINK Light Rail is available from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Downtown Seattle. Public transit is not available to Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91.
This way if anything goes awry with your flights — equipment delays, weather, computer issues, etc. — then you still have plenty of time to get to the port on cruise day. One of the big benefits of cruising from Seattle is that there is a ton to do right nearby. Within minutes you have a number of world-class attractions.
